AirNet TV is not responsible for 3rd party add-ons within the KODI application. These add-ons are, owned, and operated by 3rd party developers that have no affiliation with AirNetTV. Can the AirNetTV be used on multiple TV’s?
The AirNetTV can run on one TV at a time. However, due to its small size and simple installation, it can be moved from TV to TV very easily.
Tip – If you connect an extra HDMI cord to your second TV you will only need to transfer the AirNetTV and the power cable to your second TV. This will save you the trouble of moving the HDMI cable each time you want to switch televisions.

Are there any extra charges or monthly fees that I would need to pay for?
Absolutely not! All of the content and programs that come preloaded on the AirNetTV Android TV boxes are completely free. We will never ask for monthly fees. Programs like Netflix and Hulu still require a monthly subscription.

Does AirNetTV get local channels?
While the AirNetTVAndroid TV boxes do get live streams of all of the major network channels, they are most likely not from your local area. We suggest purchasing an antenna that is designed to get local channels over the air.

Can Multiple AirNetTV's be used in one household on one internet connection?
Yes, multiple AirNetTV’s can be used at once on the same internet connection. Please note that multiple AirNetTV’s running at the same time will demand a faster internet connection. We recommend 10 Mbps per unit. So for 2 units, we suggest a 30 Mbps Internet connection.

Can I still use Netflix and Hulu?
Yes, you can still continue to use pay services such as Netflix or Hulu. However, you will soon find that you don’t need these services as you can watch everything that they offer and even more for free on your AirNetTV device.

Is streaming TV Shows and Movies from the Internet illegal?
No. The laws state that downloading, possessing, distributing, or profiting from copy written material is illegal. When you are streaming a TV show or movie you are not downloading it and are never in possession of it. Once the TV show or movie is done streaming all of the data from that stream is gone from your unit.

What else can I do on the AirNetTV boxes besides watch TV shows, movies, and sports?
Because the AirNetTV boxes run on the Android operating system, you can do everything you can do on an Android phone or tablet. You are able to download any of the 800,000+ Android applications from the Google Play Store. You can surf the web, watch YouTube videos, check email, play games (we recommend a USB gaming controller), and just about anything else that a normal Android device can do.

Does XBMC / KODI come preloaded with all of the add-ons used to find popular video content, or do I need to install them myself?
The AirNetTV Androidboxes come preloaded with all of the popular XBMC / KODI add-ons. Our Android TV boxes come with over 40+ of the most popular XBMC / KODI add-ons. We do not bloat our boxes with pointless XBMC / KODI add-ons. Rather, we hand select the best and most worthwhile.

Do the preloaded XBMC / KODI add-ons update themselves, or do I need to manually update themselves?
All of the XBMC / KODI add-ons that come preloaded on the AirNetTV boxes automatically update themselves.

Does the content in XBMC / KODI update when new content comes out?
Yes, all of the XBMC / KODI add-ons that come preloaded on our units update their content offerings daily. This means that you can watch all of the latest video releases the same day they are added to the XBMC / KODI add-on.

Can I connect an external hard drive to my AirNetTV?
Yes, you can connect an external hard drive to both of our AirNetTV models via a USB cable. However, some external hard drives draw too much power for the USB port to handle. Generally, this happens with large external hard drives of 1 Tb or bigger. In this case you will need to provide your external hard drive with an external power source. These products can be found at almost any electronics store.

Can I watch live sports on the AirNetTV X9?
Yes, you can truly watch almost any live sporting event from all over the world. While we cannot guarantee that more obscure sports will have every game, 99% of every live sporting event in the world is available to be viewed on the AirNetTV X9. While some streams may be in HD, most streams will be broadcast in standard definition. It does not matter what region of the country or the world you are in. None of the live sports are blocked by geographical location.

For example, if you are in Florida and want to watch a New York game, you can, even if that game is not being broadcast in your area.

Here is a short list of sports that can be seen:

NFL Football
College Football
Basketball
Baseball
NASCAR
UFC
Boxing
Soccer
Car Racing
Cricket
Wrestling
Horse Racing
And many more!

The display on my screen is too big or too small. What should I do?
If you go into Settings, then select Display, you will see an option for Display Size. Select this and adjust the size until the screen fits your TV using the plus and minus symbols, and then click back.

My Wi-Fi isn’t working. What should I do?
Go into Settings, then Network Connections, and select Wi-Fi. You should see your Wi-Fi Network. Select your network and enter your password (make sure the password is correct).

Can I upgrade from the version of Android that comes on my AirNetTV unit?
The version of Android that is on your unit is currently the most stable version of AirNetTV boxes. You can upgrade to a newer version of Android because the AirNetTV Android TV box is completely open and rooted, but we do not recommend doing this, and we do not offer support in upgrading your AirNetTV Android box to a newer version of Android or for any problems that you may encounter if you do upgrade your Android operating system.

Checking Internet Speed / Running a Speed Test
As your AirNetTV relies on your internet connection to stream video content, it is very important that you have a reliable and fast internet connection.

Here is how to check and see how much internet is getting to your AirNetTV unit.

Go to All Apps and scroll down until you see the Speedtest app. Click on the Speedtestapp and then Begin Test. Let the test run and see what speeds you are getting.

For optimal streaming, you should have over 10,000 Kbps or 10 Mbps Download. Upload speed is not as important as Download speed.

If you are getting less than the recommended speed posted above, here are some options:

Move your Wi-Fi router closer to the AirNetTV unit.

Reset your Internet modem by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
Contact your internet provider if you are not getting close to the amount of internet speed that you are paying for.
